That was why I asked. And Scott, also, I’m just curious here. It sounds like a lot of the issues that surround problems possibly with electrical currents and water are because of operator error, people on these boats. And I’m just curious, like they mentioned faulty wiring, improper installation of a homemade adapter. Or malfunctioning appliances or pieces of equipment.”

I’m going to probably say the same thing that the other commissioners have said, but, you know, having sat here for 5 years, One of the successes of this department is partnership. And money does not fall from the skies. We’re not accepting this or voting on this with any predetermination of any final design.”

Appreciate that, because I mean, As far as I’m concerned, a lot of the crafts are bare bones already, and that would be a big hit to the department and the city. So appreciate you fighting for as many positions as you guys can retain.”

…part of this transition is you’re taking the whole thing in-house. Like, we’ve built the capacity to fundraise or, you know, find— manage the waitlist and, you know, accept the funds that you’re charging for the plaques and then also execute on the benches themselves?”
“Voice identified” counts the meetings where we could attribute a member’s voice. A meeting missing there means we couldn’t attribute it, not that they were absent.
Attendance

Roll calls at 9 of 12 meetings, through Jul 16, 2026

From the clerk’s own record, listed by seat. This is the official attendance record. It is separate from our voice counts, and we don’t compare members on it.
How the record counts. The clerk's minutes list each member as present, absent or excused at the roll call. Excused means the board voted to excuse the member.
